Cardi B Performs at a New York Police Department Community Service Event!

Cardi B is doing the community service that the court ordered her to do, and it looks like she’s having a good time doing it.

The Bronx, New York rapper told her fans on social media on Friday (Feb. 24) that she was on her way to do her 15 hours of community service. Before she left, she posted a selfie of herself in the mirror on Twitter with the caption, “My brains are burning from getting up early, doing community service, and then going to the studio. But I did the crime, and I only have myself to blame.”

TMZ says that Bardi later showed up at the New York City Police Department police academy in Queens, N.Y., for an event called the Girls Talk Program, which is for kids and is meant to help them find mentors. In a 17-second clip of her performance, the “W.A.P.” rapper does her verse to GloRilla’s hit song “Tomorrow 2” as the crowd cheers her on.

Cardi B talked about what happened to her on Saturday, February 25.

The “Money” rapper tweeted, “Doing community service has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.” “Almost like a spiritual journey, because I sometimes leave these centers in tears. People we leave behind just need someone to talk to and a little push, and YOU might be the one to make a big difference in their lives.”
