Dee Dee Blanchard was born in Louisiana, USA. When she was young, she did some small stealing. Later, she worked as a helper for nurses. In 1997, she got into trouble for not giving food to her mom, which people said led to her mom’s death.

She had a daughter when she was 24, but after second grade, she didn’t send her to school anymore. Then, she started telling lies. She said her daughter had muscle problems, seizures, and leukemia, but none of it was true.

When she moved to Missouri, she tricked people into giving her and her daughter gifts and trips. They got free flights to doctors, trips to Walt Disney World, and even got to meet Miranda Lambert with special passes. All of this was through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

But the sad part is, she was making up stories about her daughter being sick. This made her daughter’s life very hard, and her daughter planned her murder and killed her. She passed away in June 2015 because of the lies and mistreatment.
