Tuesday (February 28), as a guest on Andrew Schulz’s podcast Flagrant With Akaash Singh, Charlamagne The God made the delightfully audacious remark.
The co-host of The Breakfast Club was asked how much he was ready to wager that Ye would not return to Adidas following the termination of their agreement in October due to the rapper’s anti-Semitic remarks.
At the 1:28:52 mark of the podcast broadcast (below), Charlamagne declared, “I’ll suck some dick” before bursting out laughing. “That’s how confident I am. Not happening, dude. Neither of those events is occurring. So, I am confident in this wager. It is not occurring.”
According to Charlamagne, allegations that Kanye and Adidas had reached an agreement to sell existing Yeezy stock are false. “That’s not the case,” he continued. “I’ve heard that tale. But, I do not know if that story is accurate.”
Charlamagne stated, “I don’t believe Adidas would endanger their overall brand by doing anything like that.” “This corporation generates $20 billion in annual revenue. No denying that a $1 billion loss has occurred.
But y’all making it appear like Adidas is going under… Why would a $20 billion-revenue firm take the risk of hiring a man who will likely alienate so many customers?”
Charlamagne has made similar charges in the past. After 6ix9ine was detained in 2018, he made a wager that he would orally serve Tekashi if he was acquitted. After cooperating with the government and being released from prison, 6ix9ine reminded Charlamagne about the wager.
